Please note that due to the extreme power of the diesel engine on the Chevy truck that powers our vacuum we cannot clean flexible style duct work. Our machine will collapse and destroy it. We also do not use chemicals to "kill" or "glue down" dust and organisms in your duct work. It is our belief that the healthiest air comes from removing contaminants from the system not putting a temporary band aid on them. Ducts must be accessible; we cannot adequately clean ductwork that is not accessible. Options for duct work concealed by drywall would include utilizing a return grill (register) to "hide" any hole that would be required to be made to access ductwork.
We traveled to the far North West to find a company to custom build this machine in order to serve your indoor air quality needs. Even if you were to replace all the ductwork in your home with new you would still not have as clean of air as you will have when we are done. We take that dirt directly outside to our machine where as tearing down the old duct work to replace it would cause contaminants to enter the home and create a mess. Not to mention that would be cost prohibitive.
Duct work should be cleaned every 4-10 years depending on the design of the home and its system as well as the lifestyle of the occupants and if there are pets that live inside.
